MOBILE, ALBAMA: Rev. Monsignor Hugh Nicholas Maguire, 77, died February 21, 2009. He was born July 21, 1931, and was a native of Garrison, County Fermanagh, Ireland. He studied at St. John Seminary in Waterford, Ireland. He was a retired priest for the Archdiocese of Mobile. He had served at St. Leo Catholic Church in Demopolis, St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, both in Mobile, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Troy, Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay and St. John Catholic Church in Enterprise. He is survived by a brother, Charles Maguire of Ireland. Services were held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment was at Catholic Cemetery in Mobile by Radney Funeral Home.

He is survived by a daughter, Cindy Jordan (Ken) of Florence; two sons, Randy Woodley (Kristina) of Alabaster and John Woodley of Birmingham; a stepdaughter, Tina Chapman (Chip) of Eufuala; a sister, Carolyn Kilpatrick of Moulton; four brothers, M.A. Woodley (Glenda), Dwain Woodley (Linda), Harvey Woodley (Debbie), and Buddy Woodley, all of Jasper; 8 grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, Johnny Lovetto, Pete Lovetto (Debra) of Steele, and Phillip Lovetto, Jr. (Diane) of Trussville; 2 great-granddaughters; and his nieces and nephews. He was prececed in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruby Woodley; two wives, Margaret Lovetto Woodley and Hilda Dalton Woodley; and a sister, Vernice Jones. Burial was at Boldo Cemetery by Kilgore-Green Funeral Home.

NORTHPORT, ALABAMA: Billy T. Wright, 69, died January 1, 2010. He retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. He served during the Vietnam War, and was a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by his sons, Brian Wright (Brandi) of Wisconsin, and Justin Wright of Tuscaloosa; a sister, Martha Smith (Johnny) of Windham Springs; a granddaughter; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruby Wright; a brother, Jimmy Wright; and his grandparents, Josh and Nan Wright, and Roscoe and Clester Williamson. Interment was at Bone Camp Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home.

STAPLETON, ALABAMA: Sadie Mae York, 81, died December 14, 2006 at Oakwood Nursing Center in Bay Minette. She was a native of Stockton. She was a former longtime resident of Brooklyn, NY, where she worked for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of Zion Fountain A.M.E. Zion Church in Stockton, and sang with the Senior Choir. She is survived by a son, Johnny York of Stockton; three brothers, Robert Lee (Delores) Stevens of New York, NY, and Floyd (Ruth) Stevens and Dan Edward (Alena) Stevens, all of Bay Minette; and two sisters, Mary Cox of Bay Minette and Anne Mae Baker of Stockton. She was preceded in death by a son, Reuben York, Jr.; her parents, Henry N. and Leola Stevens; and two sisters, Emma White and Selena McWilliams. Services were held at Zion Fountain A.M.E Zion Church. Interment was at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Bay Minette under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel.

FOLEY, ALABAMA: Hilde Selma Zadany, 79, died January 2, 2002. She was a native of Lauscha, Germany. She worked as a registered nurse, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. She enjoyed bowling and golfing. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Alfred Zadany; a son, Andrew Alan Zadany of South Windsor, CT; a daughter, Anne Carey of Foley; a sister, Marion Tylor of Corning, NY; and 4 grandchildren. Services were held at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Entombment was at Pine Rest Memorial Park by Pine Rest Funeral Home.
